My love for
antiques began with my grandmother. Growing up in my matriarchal
family, surrounded by art and antiques from generations past, I
sometimes felt like I was living in another century. It was always my
dream to continue this family tradition and open an antiques store. But
my life took a different turn, and I became a journalist with Chile’s
largest and oldest newspaper, El Mercurio.
Now, after almost
30 years as a journalist, I’ve decided to take a chance on my dream.
Levinsky Antiques is my chance to share with others my love for
antiques, my family legacy, and my lifelong dream. Thank you for
joining me in this celebration.
My commitment to
you and Levinsky Antiques is to sell fine antiques with honesty and
professionalism and to contribute to the appreciation of antiques. I’ve
met too many people who’ve been cheated when buying antiques. They’ve
arrived home with an exciting find, only to discover their treasure was
damaged or not as valuable as the seller had promised. That’s not how I
do business.
Although tending the stores doesn't leave much time for Web updates, I invite you to get a taste for our store by visiting the News & Tips pages, browse a few of our antiques
(using the buttons to the right), and contact us with your questions
and comments or to make a purchase. We buy and sell globally and will
gladly arrange shipping to your home or business.
