We are pleased to announce our expansion!

Levinsky Antiques has expanded to a second store in Parque de los Reyes.  You can now visit us in Locals 39 and 44.  We've been feeling a bit crowded in Local 39 for some time now, so our second space will allow us to offer more products and greater variety to our customers, without sacrificing the high quality you've come to expect from our antiques.  At the moment, we are featuring some fine German furniture in Local 44, with a great variety of porcelain, cristal, light fixtures, mirrors, and furniture in Local 39.

We hope you'll join us in celebrating this exciting step for Levinsky Antiques.

We want to thank our dear friend Tom Gullo who helped us put this web page together.

We never could have done it without him. Thanks, Tom!

It's been a delight to see our shop taking shape over the past month. We now have a full complement of antiques, from lamps to Limoges, plates to puppies, fine furniture to a vintage Victrola. And we sure are having fun!

Recently, Ester attended a lecture by two experts in 18th century furniture from France and England: Joaquín Pacareau and Francisco Monge. Although most of the content reinforced what Ester had already studied, she did pick up a few interesting tidbits. It's always fascinating to consider how our culture impacts the furniture we design and purchase; this contrast is very evident in the differences between the ordered, efficient furniture of England and the heavily-adorned, decorative furniture of France.

We completed our first week in Parque de los Reyes!

We currently have available an extensive collection of fine plates and platters from Italy, France, England, Germany and Japan of the 19th and 20th centuries. We have a pair of framed porcelain Limoges paintings, signed by the painter, from the mid-1800s. We also have a pair of Savona charger plates from Italy, cerca 1690.

In addition, we have a selection of furniture, including an elegant walnut chair from the early 1900s in perfect condition, a pair of delicate French gilded chairs, tables, an early-1900s English desk, and a large cabinet with glass doors for records or books. We also have a large collection of porcelain and ceramic dogs from around the world, lamps, crystal bowls, Murano glass, and an extensive library of books about antiques.

Please visit us in Parque de los Reyes, Brasil 1157 (between Balmaceda and Mapocho), Local 39.
